A Note From Our President

"We make a living by what we do, but we make a
life by what we give"
- Winston Churchill

Winston Churchill, the Prime Minister of Great Britain during World War II, was not referring to the giving of monetary gifts. He was referring to what our Kiwanis club members do in the giving of our volunteer time to improve the well being of all the members of our community - both locally and worldwide.

As President of the Kiwanis Club of Cambridge I get to see, in a much more focussed manner, the efforts of our Club members in making a huge difference to individuals and organizations that we are privileged to support. I am extremely proud of what they accomplish in our community. Individually it is difficult to make a difference but as a service club we can do so much more as a group.

If you want to see what being part of a group can accomplish and at the same time be part of a dynamic club, give me a call at 519-622-1087. We would welcome you to join us at a meeting or at one of our service projects.

We only pass this way once. Do your part and make a life by what you give.

President Don Pavey
